This weekend (25/26 August)We are starting on converting our downstairs garage (adjacent to the basement) into my new soap kitchen! This means I'll have a dedicated area just for body care products and be able to make more soap faster and just in time for the Christmas shopping season....so get those desires for type of soap in now!!!! I've spent the past two days cleaning out the garage...moving "stuff" into the basement area so the garage will be empty for prepping tonight, and starting on walls and ceiling tomorrow...as well as re-wiring the electrical. We have a plumber selected for running lines and putting in drainage for our deep stainless steel sinks! I'll take some pictures of the "before" so we can show the transformation. I'm soooo excited!!!!!

I will post some pictures this week of where we are right now, but plans have changed to where we won't be running plumbing after all, so I'll still have to carry my pots to the kitchen to clean them out. After much discussion, we've decided to make this room such that it can be easily converted to a 4th bedroom to help the resale value of our house. We'll put up tables, cabinets (movable ones) and shelves for my use while I'm using it as my soap studio!

Teresa/Paul, I just wanted to tell you how much fun I had visitng with you all and Brianna on Saturday. I love the goats! I also wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying the products and absoutely love the body cream, something violet? I would like a soap made with that same fragrance.

Oh yes, you ended up getting the lotion in Mountain Rain as I remember, Mary Ellen! (You almost got the Lavender and Violets)I will get some more soap made with that soon. I'm doing some rebatched White Ginger and Amber right now, as I type this (it's in the oven). It was fun to have you come visit..I'll be sending the pics soon of you holding Lovie!
